Gripping, thoughtful and moving… -
This is a brilliantly written book that gripped me from the moment I started reading it. It's not based on fantasy characters from horror movies but, instead, tells the story of one man's struggle to survive and to contribute to the welfare of his village, 40 years after a devastating nuclear war. One of the best post-apocalyptic novels I've read. -
